I'm 99% sure it is a pocillapora, sounds like @billyocean has the same experience.
I did not...fortunately...somebody gave me one and i researched it and got rid of it quickly. I just like busting Tim's chops cuz he likes them.

We threw one in the tank early on thinking it was a small birds nest. Took it out after a couple months.

Its been a year and there’s still small sprouts popping up in a dozen places. We scrape and superglue whenever we see them pop up, but give it a month and a few more will show. Hate those things.

They are pretty with good movement. It was one of the earlier SPS I added. I knew they could spawn and that stylophora were preferable, I just got a good deal on a rainbow pocci.

I grabbed the 6$ one. I have a huge orange/red one already that is the back quarter of my tank. I'm interested to see how the colors will compare.
I grab one of the green hulks from this sale. hoping to get them both to plate out the back of tank and to see if maybe they'll graft some
