It can work, but in my case I don't want to chance it. After 4 months I changed out sediment filters on my house. I also have 2 stage carbon on my house. I can tell when they need changed by tasting the tap water.

My RODI unit stays pristine, snow white, I've made a ton of water too.

Those are nasty. I only get half that yucky.

I've never been to NY. I don't think I can convince hubby to vacay in NY while I go to RAP. If it was in CA, maybe because we have relatives there.

Yeah probably should of changed them a month ago. My water pressure runs 80+psi, when I notice pressure dropping to 70-75 I change them. Different seasons really change the water quality.

Also hydrant flushing always dirties them up for me. When they say their flushing i change shortly after their done.
