What is everyone’s best bang for the buck acro and what is the rough cost?
Best bang for the buck seems to be Green Crack or Green Goblin, you can get them cheap and they are bright statement pieces.

For millis, the sun god you grabbed, the creature milli or volcano seem to go for reasonable prices and grow quick with bright colors.

Otherwise, there are a lot that go under the radar like the Scooby Doo that color up great.

You spelled "all of them" wrong.

I tried to cut the tip off of the top and all its done is base..lol
mine was on a tile and covered the whole tile before it started shooting up branches. I have taken a bunch of frags of it. One of the best growers I have. But it does like to spread out

Lol, they are all amazing, but letting new people know not to sleep on some that seem basic and at the end of the day ones that "us that have been around" (aka Coral Admittedly) might already have in our collection so we probably won't be driving the costs up.

Have you done this successfully? I've read people do this to encourage growth but it seems sketchy to me, I feel like the tip would just grow algae. I'm not sure why, but coral skeletons are algae magnets.

How did you prevent the tips from getting algae? I was wondering if a Black out day would help the recovery process to not stress the acro.

Some quick pictures of our @SBB Corals doing a 15g WC and ran out of salt... Oops. Just got back from the LFS lol. The princess peach frogspawn is the size of a softball! Anyway enjoy!

Heat attack looks like it's getting some green and yellow coralites?
