I often wonder what kind of PAR I'm pulling off my setup, then I remember that I'm running 4 48" T5's and two 150w MH less than a foot off the water...

They are great lights but I switched to radions and t5 and had lower them a lot because i was my corals up top

Looks like 107 watts on the apex for 1. I have the other two.hooked into other plugs so 214 and I'm not sure on the one I'm running at 40%..maybe 300 or so total

If I didn't have such a mixed reef I could crank the Noops, but already a small tank and two 140w on a 15 inch deep tank is ridiculous.

If I didn't have such a mixed reef I could crank the Noops, but already a small tank and two 140w on a 15 inch deep tank is ridiculous.

The bigger vipara are 203 watts apiece..so I could run 600 + watts and go 500 par on my sand bed..lol

I like Adam too. I did a little digital design for him a time a two just because I have the themes in his advertising. Very counter-culture.

You're probably hitting 400-500 at the tops of your rocks.
