for feed we feed the american reed HPD and reef frenzy nano. We switch back and forth and feed every other day. I think it makes a diffrence becouse the coral consumes and eats these
I need to look into this stuff. I feel like some of the broadcast "coral foods" also feed stuff I don't want growing

I was thinking about this the other day: do fish physically swallow/ingest water? Is it something that just kind of passively happens or do they gulp?
Pretty sure this is a function of the gills/skin (Osmoregulation).

Edit: Looks like all of the above, food and drinking too.

Marine bio degree here -
depends on the fish!
Freshwater fish never drink as water diffuses freely into their gills
Saltwater fish drink water and have very good filtration mechanisms

Someone's probably going to call the Tang Police but I'm considering one for the 125.
I have a desjardini, yellow, gem, and blue in my 100gal cube and they seem happy. They come over to me when i walk up (they are overfed so it’s not because they are starving), they all get along just fine and spend all say grazing.
