Funny i think tenuis like a lot lower flow than people think too! My ones in lower flow areas have way more PE
Random flow is better than direct flow I think. Lower or higher, mine def prefer higher flow on the Milles.

I've found half of my tenuis prefer indirect random flow, half prefer strong, direct, in your eyes flow, my milles like strong but not direct flow, in fact, they grow best in the area to either side of my gyres, in the swirling current. Torts like to be passed over with current so it sweeps upwards over their branches, and everything else is just.... picky.

I've found half of my tenuis prefer indirect random flow, half prefer strong, direct, in your eyes flow, my milles like strong but not direct flow, in fact, they grow best in the area to either side of my gyres, in the swirling current. Torts like to be passed over with current so it sweeps upwards over their branches, and everything else is just.... picky.
The challenge of corals... I find that each has its own temperament a bit like the fish

To be fair, a lot of my tenuis come from SBB, and the others come from Battlecorals... So that's where the half/half split comes from. Adam BLASTS his corals with water and light... so I try to emulate that.
