First off: Thank you all for being such an awesome community and I am proud to consider myself to be part of it. I have met a few of you guys so far and look forward to meeting many more.

You guys have made being a noobie not so bad.


Anyway… it’s my turn to give back what I can, I know it’s not much but it’s the best I can do right now:

1 Blue Damsel - purchased from Fins 'n' Skins a few months ago and used to "test the waters" after my newest tank cycled, been living in the sump since I began stocking the display

1 Other Damsel (yellow face, very light purple body, black spot right behind dorsal fin)- same as above

1 mythrix/emerald crab - if I can catch him, thought he was awesome, but don't feel like risking my fish or corals

1 bag of Ocean Nutrition Silversides (4 oz bag, 10 or so left)

Chaeto, large amount that I just picked up from Modifyd - the "extra" that I have is enough to fill 2 gallon size zip-loc bags if i pack it kinda tight. I WAY overestimated the amount my fuge would hold when James was giving it away.


These are all free to anyone that wants them, I realize I could take the livestock to a LFS, but it's not worth the trouble for a few dollars when I could give them to someone who could put them in a better home anyway.

I will be at the meeting on Saturday so I can bring anything then or I live on Western north of 640 and work in Farragut Mon-Fri.

If you just FEEL like doing something in return I would take a small frag of any kind of softie/leather you may have. I am not at ALL asking for anything in return, just if you FEEL like doing something.

Devin, that's a nice idea you have. You're right about all the great people that have enabled your new addiction! It not only benifits you/us to share information, but most importantly it helps the magnificant creatures of the sea.

Someone is interested in the silversides but I will check with him to find out if he needs them for sure. If not, they are all yours and yes I will bring them to the meeting for you Trimax.

Most folks do not keep damsels with other fish. They are generally very aggressive. If you like them, you usually devote a tank to keeping several. I gave the one I got in a purchase back to the LFS.

Thanks for the silversides. I will bring an ice chest to keep them frozen.
