They are pretty cool fish. Sad to hear that.

I left my feeding door open on my top (4"x 8") accidentally, and went to another room to do something. i walked back in about 10 minutes later, and my Diamond Goby managed to jump out of it... I found him on the floor dead. He couldn't have been there long and I tried to revive him but no luck He was an awesome fish and really kept my sand bed clean. RIP buddy. I'm totally bummed, but I will definitely get another one soon.
Thank you. I run my Alk around 8.5. I don't test much on anything else unless I see an issue. I have been getting monthly ICP tests. My last one on 5/21 showed:Looks amazing!!
What are your params?

I hate to do most tests. i plan to get a Reefbot eventually.Love it that you mention potassium.
I hate doing that test.
On average it's about 2". Deeper and shallower in some areas depending current and what the fish move around. How thick is your sand bed?
What return pump are you using? I didn't modify the plumbing at all, but I'm using an Abyzz A100 return pump running at 85%. I just had to convert Metric (on the RS plumbing) to standard on the Abyzz outlet using the conversion coupler from BRS. I'm getting around 800 GPH according to the APEX FMMCan you show me your modifications to your return to jump up the return flow? I am stuck in the 480GPH range on the same tank.
Yours looks beautiful! Congrats!

Yes I have a 3/4" locline split, but nothing after that. Also : are you using any lock line or splitters at the end of your return?
I love the tank. I added the newest version of the Tunze 9004 skimmer and love it, but it does not fit in the filtration chambers (the 9001 will). It still looks good to me, and does a fantastic job of skimming and aerating the water. i also upgraded the return pump significantly to an Eiheim Compacton 3000. And got the 2 IM Spin Stream return nozzles, this way I do not have to have any powerheads in the tank, so no nem soup for me! I have also added 2 of the IM 9W UV Sterilizers which has helped me overcome dino's. I also have 2 In Tank media racks that I run Siporax in for biological filtration.@SawCJack00 Nice Tanks! I'm curious about your IM 20 nem tank. I was thinking about getting the same tank for my 2 clowns and anemones. Are you liking it so far? Besides lighting, have you added any other equipment to it? If you have any advice on setting it up and pros/cons I would love to hear it.
