Finally Got my PAR numbers written on my images! Let it be recorded!
The numbers in the higher part of the tank fluctuated quite a bit from the surface agitation; I tried to pick a lower number in the fluctuation range. The DT values are really variable becasuse of the tank bracket and all thew equipment creating shadows.

can see the green coralline, need the pink !!
cal low ?
That was a few weeks ago. I'm finally getting around to adding the data to the photos. I haver a lot more green coralline and some spots are pink/purple. My Alk requirements have gone up a lot. I'm dosing ~110ml kalk an hour now.
Stoked for the Kalkwasser reactor and RODI-replenished ATO reservoir. All I do is feed and scrub algae.

DBL-checking my Salifert tests:
image0 (1).jpeg

This makes sense (8.34dkh)... I dosed 2-part last night and upped my Kalk to 120-130ml/hr... Will probably check once the corals have a chance to photosynthesize. I'm also planning to vacuum out a bunch GHA and change the frag tank configuration...
note to self. Its important to be able to move the egg crate around in the tank.

omg my new Gen 6 XR15 and XR30 shade designs are going to be nuts!
Thanks @14 foot reef for encouraging me to look into the diffusers!

I may get in on XR15 shades before you raise prices!! :D

I missed that you had those! Been looking to build a hood for my 55, but I like the shade idea better!

a happy customer:
20230207_180127.jpg

I'm planning to add a 'ParlaTank' section to the page for photos folks send in. lol! that naming convention could work for anything!

Designed some new light shades!
gen 5 & 6 XR30 and XR15 with or without the EcoTech Diffusers.
The XR15 that I tested feels so gratifying as it clunks into position.

I'm still waiting for my 3D printer to be shipped (hopefully March, I pre-ordered the Prusa XL) so I can actually get started on designs and printing for many ideas I have!

The work you are doing here is a shared interest of mine!
