Thats what I was leaning towards. But doesn't seem like it stores as well as some other brands.
I buy 50 gallon bags. Leave them sealed until I need them. If you properly reseal it has minimal issues.

I was using instant ocean but last batch was running into dissolving issues. I've now switched to red sea blue which matches what you are looking for and its like night and day. Even when Instant ocean mixed well it still takes a while compared to red sea. All comes down to how much your willing to pay.

which was?
Doesn’t matter, I’ve seen some of the best tanks on the cheapest.

It’s not the salt but the hobbyist that makes the difference.

But for the record, Rea Sea Pro black.
In my area, this bucket dominates all others, available everywhere.

Worst availability was Tropic Marin which was dropped by stores now due to availability and it’s $180 bucket price.

Great marketing though!

I started doing a 50:50 mix of IO PURPLE and REEF Crystals, and get parameters of roughly 8-8.5DKH and ~420 calcium and it’s nice and cheap and easily available at almost every store. I just test the water before use to double check but I feel like that should sort of be a standard protocol
