A cleaner shrimp would probably die to heavy metals but their shell does offer some protection.

I would probably just try CUC from a different store.

Start with some hermits.
They two different bathes I got were from 2 different places

Also that clownfish looks like a snowflake to me. As far as costs go... new types of patterns of clownfish start out very expensive, usually a few 100 dollars and then drop in price over the next few years.
I honestly didnt have it in me to tell them that, but its true the one in the photo looks like a snowflake

Yes I can assure when I bought her she was advertised as an orange storm

True, missed that about the cleaner shrimp. Could have just been badly shipped snails/hermits, usually more of a problem with the snails. Doesnt have much to do with the LFS sometimes they just get a bad shipment but going to a different LFS is always an option. Snails and hermits are a dime a dozen and at every LFS so it is worth a shot
They were not shipped both batch brought from different LFS’s

Lol, I hope its not the same one in there because the OP wrote snowflake clownfish for it and not orange storm. Maybe they got a different one now?

that, unfortunately also looks to be another snowflake clownfish and not orange storm. Not having any white on the eye is a large giveaway. It should also have a pattern with unbroken line most of the time to the back

here is my storm for comparison (i guess i would say black storm for mine now) you can see the unbroken line and pattern down the side and the white on its eye. Hes always hiding in the anemone so hard to get good shots, the female percula is a camera hog

I tested for phosphate
it’s definitely 0ppm thank god I worried after it was mentioned that the aquarium water could have dead organisms which could lead to high ammonia etc.

almost 100%, I havent seen the rest of the body for yours but here is a larger group of them from sea and reef. Not all look to have it as much on the eye as mine but all have some white on the face
Orange Storms
