Hello everyone!
I have a rusty angel in my 125 gallon, he’s small around 2 inches or so. He was qt’ed for 30 days in copper and everything was always out and about. The tank is new he was placed inside all together with the current fish at once. The fish were placed in the tank for a month and a half or so. The first 2 weeks or so he was swimming around but yesterday I’m feeding the tank I was like there’s a fish missing that I haven’t seen in a while. Once I figured out he was the fish that I haven’t seen in a whale I started looking for him with a flashlight. I found him in one of those donut shaped Caribsea rocks just chilling. I observed him for a few mins didn’t notice any white sports, torn fins or anything he’s just sitting there. So my question.. is that typical behavior for those guys? Should I be worried somethings wrong? None of the other fish seem to have any spots and they’re all eating like pigs. My marine beta this morning had a little torn tail that wasn’t there yesterday but that’s about it.

Fish in the tank
One spot fox face
Blonde naso
Tomini tang
HarleyQuinn tusk
Toby puffer
Algae blenny
1 storm clown fish
Niger trigger

Possible aggression? Video taken while you're not in the room might help the mystery.

Ya or shut lights off pull up chair and watch tank for a half hour. He should come out and be picking at rocks. To be honest nothing in that stock list looks like a fish that would mess with a dwarf angel. No similar body size or eating habits.

Yeah it’s so weird honestly like literally almost 2 weeks I didn’t see him and I completely forgot he was in the tank because it’s so big and he’s so tiny. I was able to catch him and place it in an acclimation box and he’s fat, and healthy nothing wrong with him.
