My first Reeftank... probably a bit over a year ago lol 20g tall with a HOB filter... first frag was gsp lol. I learned everything from it about reefing, mostly hard lessons too.

My first reef tank was a 13.5 gallon fluval evo that my gf bought me last year. Ever since, I’ve been addicted to keeping corals and fish and have since upgraded to a 350 reefer lol! I learned to keep my lights off during the cycle because sheeeeesh the ugly stage was UUUUGLY. So excited for tomorrow!

This is my first reef tank. After ~20yrs in fresh. While some things are transferable, I'm trying to approach it as though I know nothing. I have learned this place is a wealth of knowledge to benefit from.

First tank was with my dad. 120g fish only with under gravel filter and hob filter. Ran like a top for years. Then salt creep made its way into the outlet and set the wall on fire. Wish i had a pic but it was the 90's. We kept that tank with a porcupine puffer, lion fish and a marine betta for prob 7 to 10 years.

My first reef tank back in 2004! I learned that flame angels aren’t as reef safe as people try to make them out to be and trying to get them out when you just have rock piled on rock can cause an avalanche. Ugh! I also learned that reefing is addicting!!! Still an addict!
