Yeah, lets put it this way. My wife will call them, they wont answer but will text her a few days later to schedule a time to talk, and then 90% of the time they stay wont answer when we calls at the scheduled time. And the worst part is my MIL doesnt work or leave the house. So we know she's just avoiding the dang phone.

whoosh, yeah that sucks. Billyocean is right though. You can set boundaries but still be a good son in law. The best advice i can give is to make a decision about you are going to handle the situation and then stick to it and try to stop thinking about it.

That's a lot of travel. I'm glad I don't have to do much and when I do it's like a mini vacation
