If my kole blue eye weren't dashing around the tank because I just fed everyone, I'd introduce you to Chip... as in potato chip... because he was a whole 3/4 inch when I got him, and now he's all growed up...

Took 16 minutes to get this one photo. 20230814_125404.jpg

I think so as well. It looked similar to the bounce one that I missed.
I think those two were the same as well. I had (or maybe have) a rainbow interstellar that had pretty similar randomness to it's coloration. I say had because I don't know where it is. It wandered around a ton, moved like an anemone, attach, walk a while rock in a day, release then reattach somewhere random. No idea what it's story was, it had mad wanderlust and I have no idea where it is.

Is there more than one dottyback in there? That is cool.
Yes I have 2, they are orchids, some of my first SW fish. I was pretty sure they had paired up.

Peaceful, just digging a lot beneath the rocks. One is the primary digger, so I believe it to be the male. His tail is always worn down from fanning the sand. The other one will go missing for a week or more at a time, so presumed female tending the nest.

First confirmation of a female though. Not sure what's going on though really.

I would love to keep wrasse, but my 2 tanks are bare bottom.
