@billyocean does your red stuff disappear at night/lights out. It seems ours does and comes back during the day... maybe some type of dinos? or does cyano disappear at night too?
Cyano gets worse during the day as well as dinos. I believe they are both free floating at night depending on the dinos

Good to know, thanks! I'll be blowing it all off again when I do a WC today. Going to order some chemiclean. Have you ran chemiclean yet to see if it did anything?

I ran chemiclean about a year ago. Just make sure you aerate the water well. I bought an airstone pump off of Amazon and ran it in my sump. I haven't ran it on this other stuff yet..ifnit gets to that point I will

When I do my Snow Storm I occasionally add a capful or 2 of MB7. It seems to help but I only see small patches on the sand bed infrequently.

Add up the value of your corals and divide 425 by that. He's a numbers man apparently.
For easy numbers:
At $10,000 worth of corals..its simply a 4% investment to insure you provide those corals with the best lighting for growth and longevity possible.
