It was one of the things that I think helped cause an outbreak of algae(but not the only one) several months ago. I’m holding onto it cause it’s crazy expensive and who knows maybe I’ll retry it sometime, but in much smaller doses. What made you stop ab÷
I dont understand the statement. Your alk is down to 12? Or up to 12? Thought it was 9.8? Confused...So down at least 12 due to red sea. They owe me money
Make your changes slow and plan for a future of better testing and success will follow. I test all the time even though I know what my numbers are already. Every now and then I catch either a bad test or something off and I can make a correction because its caught quickly.Red sea said it was at 8.21 dkh at 12 dkh
But you still need to test alk because of growth and adjust again right.Just shoot for
Alk 8s
Calcium 420-480
Mag 1350-1500
P04 .05-.12ish
N03 10-30
There's a wide range of number that will work
Preferably somewhat close to what salt ypu use if you do regular water changes. Figure out what you tank consumes and dose accordingly
I test alk almost every day. It's not necessary but I do it anyways. It's just a fail safe for meBut you still need to test alk because of growth and adjust again right.
That's gotta be the highest p04 anyone keeps their tank at..lol.Just test mine. I keep my alk around 7.5-7.7, and it works for me
7.5 alk
430 cal
1350 mag
20N03
10P04
Will post new ones tomorrow@SBB Corals , Shane got those perimeters or to busy with RAP Cali and auctions.
Wrong decimal. It's .10That's gotta be the highest p04 anyone keeps their tank at..lol.
