Hi all,
I'm new to this forum as I am currently planning for a new build to commence sometime this year. First step is the installation of a RODI system in my garage.
Option 1 - I tie into the laundry coldwater input, and drain wastewater immediately into the laundry sink. This creates a 65ft horizontal / 5ft vertical run for clean water to the mixing station
Option 2 - I tie into a coldwater input between the laundry drain and the mixing station. This creates a 15ft horizontal / 5ft vertical run of clean water to the mixing station, and a 50ft horizontal / 5ft vertical run of wastewater back to the laundry drain.
Diagram attached below for reference.
Is one of these options better than the other in terms of wastewater and/or RODI membrane efficiency? I'd really like to avoid purchasing another pump for either cleanwater or wastewater...
Thanks so much in advanced!
