@Slocke, pictures look great. Can you share which case you bought? I’m going on a cruise in 3 weeks that goes to Rotatan and have a snorkel tour book would like to get a waterproof case.

I got this. Great for snorkeling but it stops working under 20ft so you can only take videos

I have a coral research facility near me (this is where I go to get my corals), and the guy who owns it goes around the world to dive in the coral reefs and collect info. He's going to Roatan for the first time in September. I will have to show him these photos!
I have to edit up some of the videos to get better coral photos but here are some quick rough ones. This one is apparently a rare endangered coral called pillar coral Dendrogya cylindrus

I absolutely love going to Roatan! Our family has been four times and stay at Infinity Bay. The snorkeling and diving right off the resort is amazing! Honestly it's what got me itching to try my hand at this hobby.

I just feel the shape and color are completely off. It’s gray and from what I can see coruleus goes steadily from yellow to dark blue. Then the shape of the dorsal and anal fins are much rounder. Almost like a zebrasoma.

@ISpeakForTheSeas do you have an opinion? I think we are down to bahianus or coruleus

This is why you should have had a collection method instead of a camera. Much easier to id some of these things back on the beach :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Plus, it's easier to photograph them once they are in a tank. Beautiful images. I can't wait to show the misses the turtle feeding video you posted. It appears to have swam over, like you staged a photoshoot. Very Nice!

Did you see any acropora?
I actually got to watch them frag some to move it to another section of reef but the only photos I have are of this one which obviously lost some tissue during the last die out

I went to Roatan for just under a week and brought an underwater phone case. Here is some of the better stuff I captured, as well as some of my cool spots and recollections.

Let's start with the easiest-to-show photos of my snorkeling.
A massive ~3ft chain moray, Echidna catenata.
