well i think if you wanted to lower those NO3 i could give you a few pointers. Water changes are very good to start
What else do you recommend? I do water changes weekly, about 10-15 gallons of a 120g system. Use a sock filter and phosguard. My issue isn't so much nitrates as much as phosphates.

Nah, unfortunately I found out my tank likes nitrates around 50. I got them to 15 and things went south.
Yeah, I understand that every tank is different. For Acros, I really never let them get above 10, but for my other systems, I don't mind them being around 20. However, I'm also having to dose NO3 in all my systems, so it's more about picking a number that works for me.

It's weird, my Acros were colored up, growing and branching with Nitrates over 100. Dropped them and when they got below 50 is when my Acros started dying.

When it comes to managing PO4, I start with the water system, ensuring my RO/DI is on point and has enough pressure to function properly. Then, I usually examine what I'm feeding to make sure I'm not overdoing it based on my fish load or coral load. It's all about finding that balance to maintain optimal water quality.
