Ever print a collapsible sword? I printed a couple last night.
No but I might. It'd look cool with the rainbow I have. there is another club meeting later this month and I am pondering leaning into the printed toys along with the reef stuff. I won't be the only printer there if I go though.

They do look cool in the rainbow but I did not print with it.

One I printed was only two walls thick, I used plain PLA, so after a few good swings a section came apart. I put it back together but still. Maybe PLA+ would work better. More walls also.

The second one I printed was thicker, and holds together fine.

I may start buying PLA+ for toys anyways, you can usually find it for about the same price on sale.

Some of those card kits maybe? Find some boats, fish, and stuff.

those could be fun!

and that's a clean looking print!
I also need to make garden signs for the mrs, and floating bath toys for the baby, requested by the mrs.
What I've read, those are big sellers at flea markets. Cheap, interesting, people don't mind dropping a few dollars on them. Kids always want something...

Always something to print! LoL

Have you looked at huforge prints? It was $18 for the program, but you can import pictures and stls and have it slice them for filament changes to make really neat stuff.

Haven't heard of them. I'll give a look, I need to find out if I can now add a stop to the gcode for swaps. Old versions didn't let me so it was sit there waiting for the right layer and hitting pause.
