My Nitrates were sitting at around 100. I used vinegar to bring them down slowly and had Purigen in the filter sock at the same time. I didn't bottom them out but I think they dropped too fast and all of my Acros except the Pink Cadillac died. Pink Cadillac was close to death.Oh, well that's gotta make it worth it! Mine is beautiful orange and red but it is a slow grower. My Hollywood Stunner on the other hand...Mine is dark, dark red... Hard to tell it's even alive but it's been like that since I got it.
