I’m stuck working . 3p-11p . I’m gonna try to take peeks when I can. Both days. Sigh. Hospitals never sleep.10 years ago I would have laughed at myself for looking forward to being at home buying corals on a Saturday night.
That stinks...hopefully a slower day..it's only a half moon.I’m stuck working . 3p-11p . I’m gonna try to take peeks when I can. Both days. Sigh. Hospitals never sleep.

That sucks!!!! Can you siphon any out?Ugh I just dropped probably close to a quarter of my auto feeder worth of pellets into my tank. I guess I get to find out how good my nutrient export system is.
I scooped out the ones that were floating, I believe/hope my tank is mature enough to process the rest without any issues. Maybe I’ll finally be able to get my nitrates above 1.That sucks!!!! Can you siphon any out?
Good luck! I’m sure it’ll all be good…the luxuries of a well established tank. If it makes you feel any better we once bought an automated feeder, mounted it, went to do something else and knocked it into the water instantly killing it. It was one of those times you just have to laugh so you don’t throw it across the room!I scooped out the ones that were floating, I believe/hope my tank is mature enough to process the rest without any issues. The worst part is I’m going out of state early tomorrow morning so I won’t even know how it did until Sunday night at the earliest.
I stupidly was trying to fill the cup without taking the feeder off of the mount, like everyone says not to do. I guess I learned a valuable lesson tonight.
Thanks, I’m not that worried about it, just a little nervous because I won’t be there to do anything if ammonia does start to increase.Good luck! I don’t think it is. The one that they posted on the thread seems a lot more orange than that one. It’s the bright orange that made it stand out to me. Unless it was just a difference between the two pictures. As we all know lighting and camera filters can completely change the way a coral looks in a picture.
It’s not I was sniffing around Riptide’s website. They have green ones only. That one is way too green tinted. Here’s a side by side comparisonI don’t think it is. @RiptideAquaculture what is the name of that beautiful orange torch that I copied your picture off.
