Hi everyone,

I'm here asking for help with my Rhodactis. They were perfectly fine until about three weeks ago, more or less. The only change was that I introduced some new corals to the tank, so I hope it’s not any kind of pest.

Among the new corals, I added an orange Rhodactis, which at first seemed healthy and fully open, but this changed a week after I added it. Can you help me with any advice? I'm really worried about what could be affecting my Rhodactis.

In my opinion, I haven't had any significant changes in any important parameters, at least not in the ones I've been measuring:

I’m including a couple of photos taken before the problem started, and one from three days ago. Their health is getting worse every day, and now all of them seem to be affected.

Thank you very much for your help.

very wild guess, but since in the pictures some of the hairy mushrooms are still open, i would guess they're splitting. either that, or a potential "coral warfare" between both mushrooms in terms of allelopathy (not too confident in this guess as i haven't read of many causes being this, however i would find it difficult to test for allelopathy at our level of hobby keeping)
