I am torn about doing something with some bettas at a local pet supply store in NYC. One had a brutal gill infection that I could confidently treat but then what happens after I buy their inventory? Do they stop selling fish because they have no intention of taking care of them properly or order more because there was a demand. I am betting on the latter and not buying, but it is a tough situation.

Even if all there fish die and no one buys I think they will still stock them just for the visual appeal for there customers.
