That will break all device association , and unless the devices are configured correctly to retry network upon failure , they will lose connection . I have seen pi requiring reboots after hostname changed@LionHeart2017 - might seem like a silly question but have you tried restarting the router?
As a Certfied Peer Support Counselor I can assure you that you are doing the very best you can, and have the strength do do what you need. Keep up the ability to overcome you have displayed. I appreciate you and believe in you.Maybe the reboot did fix it, I'm now able to connect via vnc and browser, thanks for the help, I'm blaming my router on this as it's pretty crap

This is a very common problem. One of the trick I do is to deploy a system timer job (like cron , but based on its modern equivalent systemd timer unit) to restart network everynight. This is not managed by reef-pi and configured at system level. In worst case when network issues happen, it resolves after the immediate night.Maybe the reboot did fix it, I'm now able to connect via vnc and browser, thanks for the help, I'm blaming my router on this as it's pretty crap
Just to clarify, my build is Home Assistant not Google Home. Home Assistant can integrate with Google Home, Alexa, etc. but it's an entirely separate system. There is? Where? I use Google Home and it would be cool to have this (maybe...assuming my kids don't get carried away and shut everything off with it).

Lets troubleshoot it. I'll respond in your build thread.@Ranjib how are we supposed to get the telemetry into adafruit.io? It keeps asking me for a prefix, but I have no idea what that is? I know someone made a reference to the telemetry tab earlier today, but I can't find it.
