I use ME coral liquid additives exclusively now. I dose calcium alk sometimes mag but not really.
Change water every Monday using IO now.
Don't have much coral so everything stays pretty stable.
I skim heavy so add kent trace once weekly.
Test weekly.

My philosophy has been keep things as simple as possible as long as possible / until it’s not possible.

I relied on ~10% AWC and some daily amino dosing from the beginning until I noticed Alk consumption going up.

Next I started dosing Alk daily and didn’t do calc or mag as they stayed very consistent (so I thought based on test results)

Next noticed some corals not doing great even though my calc and mg results were still good (high even) - asked about it and got advice from these forums to move to 2 part dosing.

Additionally I got an ICP back confirming my calc was low (so my Hanna tester was/is out) and low iodine as well as some other minor elements.

Since then - the past 3 weeks - I’ve been dosing
* Daily AF Power Elixir (aminos)
* AF Components pro for core parameters (alk, calc, mag and trace elements)
* Still doing AWC 10% weekly

Noticed straight away better extension and colour. Couldn’t be happier at the moment.

What’s your Vodka dosing level? I use 1 shot for the tank, then 3 shots for me!
3ml vodka and 5ml mb7 is 350 gallons of water… my nutrients are very low so I don’t carried away with it.. I just feed the corals with it honestly

My current regimen for elements, which I've been doing for nearly 2 years is:
Daily:
Kalk in ATO.
Additional supplementation of CA and Alk (BRS).
MG, MN, I, K, CO, CR, SE, V, F
Twice Weekly:
B, BR, FE, MB, RB, SR, NI, ZN

I also adjust elements as per ICP tests, which are done every 2 - 3 months.

I have the same set and thought- only moonshiners has this list and close with Triton program
Triton is my preferred vendor.
But I do use ATI, because they test for Fluoride.
I did receive a message from Triton, last month, saying that they would begin F testing, but haven't heard from them since.

Reef Builder and Reef Advantage both raise alk and calcium- why did you choose these buffers over two part solutions or product such as ESV?
I used to use Seachem fusion 1 and 2 and also reef builder and ran into stability issues. I switched to EVS 2 part and they worked very well and today I'm waiting on a new product.

Pretty straight forward. I use a CaRx for calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. Other than that, a couple drops of lugols once a week, dry strontium and dry magnesium if needed to keep up. Of course, carbon and occasional GFO.

Other than that, tried a variety of aminos.

Speaking of that I recently started trying RedSea Coral AB+. Much lower, less frequent dose than recommended and excellent results (coral response) with just one glaring problem. Within 2 weeks I have red cyanobacteria which I have not had in years. Anyone else experienced similar problems?

I'm using EVS B-Ionic 2 part, RS AB+ for amino's, Ocean Magik for the pods. and now switching to Tropic Marin All for reef one part. Only feed PE Mysis to the fish and the odd time to my CUC since they have the tank spotless.. Sad actually that when I feed the fish, the blue hermits and scarlet's come racing to the front of the tank.. Funny they've learned where to go so they can be fed, so as a reward of keeping everything spotless and next to nothing to eat by them reacting as they do I feed them with a small pippet twice a week and keeps them happy.

Hopefully the all for reef don't spike the alk as its already at 1440.. I'm trying to get my dKH up to 9 from 7.8 from yesterdays test. The red sea black bucket doesn't seem to really raise the alk when checked the next day, but this is temporary as I don't use RC anymore. I have all this salt and just waiting for my new system to arrive so maybe then once the tank is filled with strictly the black bucket I hope all goes well.
