Once the newly received fish in our custody begin feeding and are successfully weened onto prepared foods, they are further de-wormed via frozen food soaked in praziquantel, metronidazole, or piperazine

11.4. I have so many horror stories about Brook.

Infections like Brook (Brooklynella hostilis) are attacked head on at Reef Chasers as we implement preventative measures on these specimens which include medicated baths in anti-parasitic medication such as Praziquantel

Nov 4: Too many fish stores try to sell fish as soon as they get them in before they have a chance to show signs of disease. The fact that Reef Chasers quarantines long enough to treat for disease shows that they care about their customers.

11/4: my favorite part of their procedure is the minimum of 4 weeks. Lots of possible problems could pop up during that time and t sounds like they utilize all the tools to keep the fish healthy!

I like their entire quarantine process because I've never ordered online but knowing they are monitored and treated prior to would make me that much more comfortable ordering from them. I'm still new to all of this and have not set up any kind of qt tank and know that I need to do so asap. Next fish will definitely be from Reef chasers!

10/4 I didn't really know the extent of what was actually needed to properly quarantine fish. I like that you care enough to take care of them. I really doubt my fish from my last went through all of that. Maybe I should just start ordering online.

" I wish more fish stores alone would do this. Internal parasites may not seem like an issue, but they kill fish when left alone. Most people don't even know wild fish have internal parasites.

November 4 - I appreciate the dedication to excellence. Most LFS I’ve used just throw new with old and have no idea how long anything has been where. Great to see a quarantine process, and now considering getting fish from here because I don’t have room for a quarantine tank!
