Plan:
Taking down my nano in a short while and relocating to California (from CO). Figured it was a perfect time to restart. Have been in the hobby since I was a kid, but solely doing nanos since college in 2001. Figured it was time to get back into a normal sized reef. This will be an SPS dominated reef.

Equipment:
AquaMaxx 24" cube (will drill) -low iron glass
Custom stand with 6" boarder on front and sizes to give more room underneath.
16" Shadow overflow by SRS
Trigger Systems Ruby 20 sump (will hard plumb)
2x Sicce AC 2.0 return pumps
Vertex Omega 150 Skimmer
EcoTech Radion G4 XR30 Pro
2x EchoTech MP40
Apex Controller
Tunze Osmolator ATO
BRS mini GFO carbon reactor driven by a Sicce 1.5
BRS biopellet reactor driven by a Sicce 1.5 -I've never used biopellets but always wanted to try
2x cobalt 150 heaters (may go the cheap route and pick up 2x Jager -I have had SOOO few issues with these over the years)
2x 1.1 ml/min 2 part doser. For Calc and Alk (will do mag by hand weekly)
BRS reef saver rock (Super easy to work with and drill) bound with acrylic rods to form pillars
Marine Pure biomedia in sump (since I have them lying around)
Fuge light: 12" BuildMyLED fixture

I would love to simply use 2 MP10s, but the AquaMaxx has something insane, like 12mm, glass. So I think they will spin like crazy inside. Anyone else know of a low iron 24" cube that isn't that thick?

Any tweaks that you guys would make??

Ok. This has been 1 year in the planning process! So many life changes, but the tank is still nearly the same.

Changes:
I have definitely decided AGAINST running carbon dosing of any sort.
I will be looking into using Gyres instead of Vortechs due to rock work and not wanting to blast some of the pillars head on.
I will also be using Kalk in my ATO... But I will run two ATOs one that doses Kalk in preset amounts and the other that actually then adds even more top off when the tank needs it. Advantage: exact dosing of Kalk and the ability to use a dosing pump rather than something with moving parts inside the Kalk solution. Will still use 2 part for additional supply when needed.

ORDERING MY GLASS within the next month! Will be pulling the trigger on the glass shortly. SC Aquariums has the ability to make a custom low iron with black back, 24x24x24 and ship it for around $600.... Which is PERFECT for me. They have been super easy to get quotes from and fantastic to work with so far.
