I have not updated in a few weeks. Tank had a cyano bloom from over feeding the fish. I thought they were not eating enough. I realized that the used Reefwave 26 I bought used is bad. It kept making noises to I took it apparent and realized the insides is all notch up and not smooth causing it to vibrate but I guess for the price I can't complain too much it does work just noise. I found that I can just buy the wet side from redsea for relatively cheap so I will eventually do that. I have also decided to more the gryes to the back by the overflow and point them out. I felt like there were dead spots in the back. So far I am liking the new position. Just got to adjust the flow percentage to get the ideal movement. (Any advice or recommendations are apperciated) I have also added a few more hermits and 3 Nassarius Snails. I can also added a six line wrasse to the family. Now just let the tank settle and start getting some coral.

I had a few setbacks but I have finally started adding coral to my tank. I have added a branching GSP, a few Zoa frags, a Yuma mushroom, and some firework cloves. I will be adding a RBT anemone and a purple Stylo in the coming week. Once everything is in place Ill have pictures uploaded to show the progress.

So I just got a few free frags from a local reefer. I went to buy some zoas and he ended up giving me a few frags of zoas (unknown), a couple small blue mushrooms, and a couple frags of frogspawn. He mentioned they were only half head but would grow. The questions I have are should I isolate the blue mushrooms( I hear they can multiple quickly? Next question is where is the ideal location for frogspawn in my tank?

So I finally decided to move both my wave makers to the back of my tank towards the edge. I was holding off because I bought a reefwave 25 from a person here and didnt realize until later that it was broke. The motor was scored and it would not spin smooth if I had it vertical. To late to really say that it was the sellers fault and I didnt want to deal with the hassle. I finally reached out to Red Sea and was able to find the part number for just the motor portion of the reefwave. I was able to replace the motor and now it is running smooth and quiet in a vertical position. Ended up costing me more than purchasing new. In the future I am going to be more wary of products I buy from people.
