I have been using the red sea blue bucket but then the calcium from this bucket keep getting me high calcium and random magnesium levels.

Red Sea States levels of
KH 8
Ca 430
Mg 1310

but my test levels are
KH 9.3
Ca 550
Mg random (I did 3 magnesium test on the water and it came out at 1020,1320,1170)

What are the correct level I should be aiming for? Should I use another salt bucket instead?

The reason i never buy buckets is because i can't shake them well...
It might be a bad batch or some of your minerals are at the bottom of your bucket, could be anything really.
There's also an influence of moisture creeping into the salt mix.

What i would do is try shake your bucket extremely well & then make a batch where you reach 8 KH & check the corresponding values, if they don't add up. Contact Red Sea or your LFS.

Still applies..., shake your bucket, mix tiny bits of salt till you reach 8KH, test other values.

Have you by any chance checked the water before adding any salt to it? I had that issue happen to me before where the water itself was adding things that I didn't realize. Maybe my filters were old or cracked somehow; I'm still not exactly sure.
