I am building a new peninsula tank and one of the major challenge I am facing is getting enough flow across the tank without adding equipments to the far side.
The tank is 48"x24"x18"H. The equipment I already have is 2x MP40s which were not sufficient in getting the flow I want.
Hence, as a next step, I am looking eductors as a solution.
The return pump is sicce syncra silent 5 which is outputting about 1300 gph (but probably approximately 1200 gph after factoring the head pressure and the many turns the return pipes will have). The return pipe will split into 2 and supply water to 2 return nozzle at ~600gph.
Since eductors need high flow/velocity, I might upgrade my return pump for something more powerful.
Unfortunately CPR aquatics 3/4" eductors were discontinued and I am now trying to find an alternate products.
I see a lot of ponds eductors but they were rated for higher GPH.
If all else fail, I will install a gyre xf350...
That said, if anyone has a recommendation for a good eductors, I would be happy to hear your input.
