I’ve seen one of these on marine collectors website. That’s the only place I’ve seen it for sale. Is the pic from a LFS?
Yea it’s from a local fish store. it’s selling for $599 I’m thinking about purchasing it if it stays alive another dayI’ve seen one of these on marine collectors website. That’s the only place I’ve seen it for sale. Is the pic from a LFS?

Melanarus are pretty common not sure why they have that under rare fish. Keep in mind you’re paying more from them because they quarantine the fish for you before it ships.MELANURUS WRASSE
seen on marine collectors site under rare finds, is this fish rare? This is also at my LFS for $60-$80 but it’s listed on MC site for 150
These Halichoeres are the most common. Not rare at all. Elliot just groups them that way I believe is because they pre condition the fish and QT themMELANURUS WRASSE

I just came across this thread. As it's almost a year later, did you pick this guy up? Still have it? Very curious as I'm getting mine in a few daysI just went to marine collectors website, $1499. Woah!!! Makes me appreciate my local fish store even more.
I just visited the blue puffer today. It’s still alive and well. Tomorrow I’ll ask them to feed and record how it eats.
