I'm not sure on saturation. I use brs calcium mix. Which is like 2 1/2 cups of mix for a gallon
Then you are dosing about the same amount of Ca as I am. Have you ever tested for Fe/I2/K? BRS states that you should use 1 mL of CC per 50 mL of their 2-part dosed so I still think you're dosing a bit heavy. According to that, you should be dosing closer to 1-1.5 mL / day. Some of those trace elements can be toxic at elevated levels so just be cautious.

Salinity 1.026 (RSP Refractometer) No need for change.
Nitrate .5 (RSP) Just right for me.
Calcium 420 (RSP) 440 (Salifert) Not sure which to trust fully but I think they are close enough.....no need for change
Alkalinity 9.5 (RSP) Just right!
Magnesium 1260 (Salifert) I'd like to bring this up closer to 1500 but nothing wrong with the number as is.
Phosphate .16 (RSP) .8; .19; .14 (Hannah) I'm very surprised over this, I don't have a single strand of hair algae, some small groupings of bubble algae. If these numbers are true, I certainly need to do something about it. Maybe a touch of GFO is in order....

...now back to our regularly scheduled programming (thread topic) -- sorry for the derailment...

No derailment at all @cee,...the intent of this thread was to get us talking about our parameters and how we maintain them.

@Rob.D ,..have you read Adam @ Battle corals recent right up on phosphates? He doesnt think they are the devil we make them out to be.

I have, but what few acros I have aren't colored very well.....for a piece of mind I'd rather have my phos levels down a bit.
