Super relieved right now. Found the midas blenny's home base. Hes dug out a cave under a base rock behind the devil's finger leather. He is extremely scared of anything and everything. Hes gone in a flash. I guess the moves back and forth really messed him up psychologically.

He used to be front and center day in and day out. Hopefully time will heal his mental state. PTSD is real.

If he’s healthy give him time. I traumatized a fairy wrasse during my moves and upgrade. That was Oct/Nov and he’s just now getting comfortable enough to not hide every time i get near that tank.

Yea, will just leave him be for as long as it takes. Hopefully he is out and about before the next batch of fish go in so he socializes promptly to establish peace. I am planning on a 5 fish group for QT. These numbers should be enough to help avoid any 1 fish getting picked out of the crowd and bullied.

We shall see.

Got a little shock instead of coffee this morning. Naturally the first thing any true reefer does is run to his tank when the first blues start ramping up, as I did today.

I decided i wanted to move some rock work and move the octospawn. And I got a reasonable current through my hand. ;Droid

Narrowed it down fast and found that my aqueon 300w ceramic heater is leaking voltage. It's out. Checked with my probe and I'm good now.

Was in too big of a rush to test it when I first got shocked. Was more of a survival reaction to locate and pull whatever it was.

Glad I got a backup in there already.

I'll explain it here. To me, this is too flat (red). I'd try removing the rock in yellow and see how it looks having a valley in there.

Operation rescue, rehome, and save the fire fish has begun.

They both got beat up, but 1 is missing its tail fin almost completely

Metro and kanaplex are otw from amazon.

Damsels are awful. Almost killed the poor guy.

Damsels are vicious little so and so’s. Good luck with the rescue they’re gonna need some TLC. At least they’re in good hands and have a shot to thrive
