Reminds me a little of another boat catastrophe. The Exxon Valdez which had a drunken Captain at the time of the crash.

It's reported, shortly after the crash, he was heard saying, "I said RUM and COKE on the rocks. Not run the boat on the rocks!"

Last week I pulled the chaeto out to trade (left a little). Also had hopes the other macro would take off with more nutrients available...instead.. i and ended up with a GHA breakout in the refugium. Better to have it down there anyways

Might grab some CUC for the fuge tomorrow. Urchin? We shall see.

Test dKh and Ca just now to see how my dosing recommendations from seachem calculator faired. I think I miscalculated my twv... put 140.. with rock and equipment displacement, its prolly closer to 100g or so.

Was aiming for 8.5 and 440.

Just trimmed my rocks over the weekend. Looks beautiful and easy to maintain.

Been under the weather and came home early. Took a nap and ran a timelapse of the "Green Monster" waking up during sunrise ramp up.

Started doodling for the doser station. This seems to be the one I like most out 4 sketches so far. But I think I will be moving the power station above the doser itself to avoid any risk of leaks cause an electric fire hazard. The vessels and doser will just slide down the 4.5" to make room above.

Thanks sir. Ive always been fascinated watching coral open up and show their "living" behaviors. Target feeding timelapse take the cake though.

My squam anthias is incredibly funny to observe. She is not scared of anyone. Tangs that are tripple her size included. My favorite behavior is when she watches the FF and tangs all frenzied mowing down some macro off the clip... she just sits there, and darts around looking for food due to the feeding behavior the others display. And when its over, she just stares at the clip totally confused... like... "wheres the good stuff?"
"you all get excited for this green slimy stuff?"

It's hilarious.
