1. I think an Apex Controller is a must have for any serious Reefer. The ability to turn on/off critical components such as heaters, cooling fans, skimmers, pumps...get warnings in case of any mishaps... leak detection etc.. can save the reefer ALOT of money as well as time. A failed heater can crash a reef tank in less than 24 hours. Having Fusion alert system is a lifeline in such situations. Plus less wire clutter is an added bonus
