I usually cruise the unanswered threads helping where I can and where I can't, I try to get the conversation started by asking basic follow up questions so when the more knowledgeable members come on they have a little bit more info to go off of. Sadly things have been very crazy here recently and I haven't been able to be as active.
I think there are more ways to help than people realize. For example, If someone posts about having problems with corals and doesn't list parameters, light (and schedule), inhabitants (incase of suspected nipping) asking for those is a fantastic way to fill in the blanks and give those who have the knowledge to help more to go off of. Even if you know little on the subject asking follow up questions pertaining to the problem at hand helps tremendously.
