One what's the differences between a wellso and a Wilsonis.
Secondly are scolys truly harder to keep then other meat corals. I've always heard they do well for a little but then die off.

Welso is a type of trachy, bottom of the welso skelton is cone shaped. This is my rainbow welso. Top pic is wilsoni from @AquaSD website. Wolsoni I find is more sensitive than welso. Low flow abs low light.
For your 2nd ?, I find both scoly and meat the same hardiness because I have both

I don't know about the dying off, but I do think other meats are easier. My acanthophyllia and cynarina are both from AquaSD and are super hearty. My acanthophyllia bleached when I tried to up the lights and came back really easily. Scoly recede and it is harder to get them to recover over the skeletal structure.
