My 120 is going to add custom coral overflow covers and a small faux reef centerpiece. I will then add a little live rock for more structure and bio-filtration purposes. If I can make it look right with the coral inserts. I am going to sell Marshal Carters old nano and start a brand new JBJ 30 Gallon rimless AIO tank as a small reef tank. Then I'm thinking of doing a very very small nano with no fish and just Zoas and inverts. That's my plan right now. Any ideas, suggestions, or constructive criticism? The coral inserts won't be done for a couple months. I've made my first deposit with a company on the interweb. Not sure of the rules on linking to sites, so ask me if you are interested or just curious. I can get you the details. I am also going back to Black sand.

Mc-cro , here is my setup. Unfortunately, only a small piece of mantle is left, still pretty bright
I changed the water and fed it again, not very optimistic though.
Thanks anyway

I would have left it in the main tank. You risk fouling the water in that small of a tank and feeding the amount it needs The tupperware containter in the main tank allows you to keep good water quality, but remove it easily for feeding, then when you put it back in the tank, everything else gets fed.

but, unfortunately, at this point, I think its too far gone.

I will keep your advice as pearls of wisdom.
(That sounds so much better than: I will use it next time, that's so negative! LOL)

As you can see, there is not much left. I put it in a tupperware container in the corner low flow low light, fed it a lot.
I was so proud when I got it.

you know, I should have. I was at LFS picking up a bottle of Revive when I diverted my dollars to pick up an acro. What a ***** I am.
It might not have made any difference, but I should have.
It might be stung by my chalice. This morning I noticed the chalice had a web, yes a web of tentacles extending3-4 inches to my Miami hurricane acans,I tried to separate the two, and had some difficulty doing it. I hope it does not kill my acan too. It is now banned to a corner. Should have taken a picture but the light were off. I did not know it could reach that far
I dose Mag everyday a capful, I don't test Mag but do Alk andpH and Calcium, everything else is growing good. I might be wrong but I think it is hard to overdose on Mg, so I try to err that way rather than low Mg
thanks for the feedback!

that sucks... I have a bottle of revive if you would like to use it, I'm in love with that stuff!

I think it will be under a deep deep sandbed, about 6 feet, soon. I don't think revive will do, maybe pixie dust.
Thanks for sharing my grief

Nanodoc, that might well have been your problem. I have to watch my pink bubble tip anemones to make sure they touch nothing. For those of us with smaller tanks, a foot apart might be a challenge!!

Not to mention, my nem decides it wants to be in a different place almost weekly.
