So i got a little rock of GSP back in December of last year and there was simply no growth… Until in the past 2 weeks it has exploded. attached a pic to show where the new growth has happened in just a week and a half.

(All my other corals have shown nice growth prior to the GSP)

Any ideas why it took so long for it to start to grow?

keep in mind the last change I did to my lighting schedule was back in March. All parameters are closely monitored and tank is dosed accordingly. It is very stable with little to no fluctuations.

Thanks in advance!

A lot of coral will do absolutely nothing for like a year and then explode with growth. Well done. You have a stable tank.
Thank you for your help!! the waiting in this hobby really does pay off in the end and it feels great when things are going right I have to say hahaha
