How did you sand the bottle? Tried sandpaper but it isn't doing much.

PaPaCox, you may fine more to read than you want. Some of my threads go back for years.

Love this idea, definitely want to make some "aged bottled" now...
Then you need to go to the liquer store. I think I will go also, you can't have to much liquer. I already have so many Grand Marnier bottles in my tank but I really love that stuff. I mean I love how the bottles look. It is kind of expensive but I only drink it for the empty bottle and they won't just sell me an empty bottle so I have no choice but to drink it. No, really!

No not at all. It would increase the silica about the same if you would put Paris Hilton's dog in your tank, or maybe a little less

This is such a fun article! Can't say I've ever put a bottle in my reef, but I might consider doing it this way...

This thread is a hidden (or not so hidden) gem!

I'm going to have to hit the liquor store on the way home now.... Gotta get a bottle of Makers Mark to try this with... and when I decide that it isn't right I'll get a bottle of Don Julio.... and when that isn't right I'll try a bottle of Glenfidisch.

ummm... what was this thread about again?
