Po4 dosing via ato amount

Hi everyone, I’m trying to work out how much trisodium phosphate to add in my ato to maintain a good level in my 450l. I tried using the planted dosing calculator, however it does not seem right. My redsea ato is 40l, I top off around 2.5l each day and wish to add around 0.04-0.06 each day until it stabilises. I tried inputting the details and it says 1g in 40000ml, dosed at 2500ml will add 0.1 which seems a lot for 1g in 40l.

Let’s try 0.05 ppm (mg/L) per day.

Increasing PO4 this amount in 450 L would require the 2.5 L added to be 450/2.5 x 0.05 mg/L = 180 x 0.05 = 9 ppm
To make 40 L of 9 ppm PO4 needs 360 mg PO4. If you have hydrated sodium phosphate with 12 waters of hydration, you will need 380/95 times 360 mg or 1440 mg.
