dang man thats what i had before but the durso was going crazy on it. Like the return wasn’t strong enough because the 1.5 piping was causing too much siphon
You really have way more pump than you need for your tank, so staying at the lowest setting is your best bet.
If it were me, I would go back to the 1-1/2" pipe and work the kinks out.

you already have a air in the top?
that's a vent.
It’s possible he’s not getting enough air pressure from the one vent..but his pump should overcome that.. I think by adding a bigger vent or another vent with the pump he can succumb this.. going off past predicaments every situation is different tho just my input

A durso can run reasonably quiet, but not totally.
You will have drain noise in the sump because of the air.

I remember setting up my last durso drain and I believe I had to enlarge the hole to make things quieter.
You may be on to something Joe.

air has to go somewhere, if your running that pump on a 1 inch pvc pipe with a little drill hole your pumping a whole lot of air in there and it’s dead heading at the water surface of the sump. Put a buckshot in that baby and let her breathe. No air, no bubbles, no sound. Let’s remember the pump is there to force the water down. Less stress on the pump with proper venting is a win win all around

I think that a larger pipe, lower water level (or higher T), and possibly lower return pump flow should solve most of the issue.

This^^^^^.

A higher tee will result in a little less noise inside the overflow box.
