Do plate corals fight with each other? My orange short tentacles keeps inflating and moving directly on top of my green long tentacles trying to smother him. I've had these corals for 2 years with no issues previously....really strange behavior.

Doesn't look like they've done damage to each other. My best guess is that the orange plate is trying to relocate to a slightly better spot and the green long tentacle plate is in the way.No I guess they could just be horsing around
That was my first thought and I moved him to the other side and he scooted back on top of the green. I moved him to the middle front and he worked his way back to the corner.Doesn't look like they've done damage to each other. Hhmmm. I think you might on to something here. Same day as the eclipsedid this start before, during or after the eclipse?
It's kind of like how a dog knows an earthquake is about to happen before it starts huh...
