Thought I heard that is will be his last tour.
Yeah I saw the last tour also....I thought it was excellent. I also heard this will be his last one :(

I have seen them both..........while Brit Floyd is good, and probably sounds more like original Floyd (strictly due to their vocals), I would still rather see Waters. Heart is one thing that Waters still has lol.....unfortunately it is 100% political, but hasn't it always been when it comes to his music?
I agree with the political part. He's come full circle from what he sang about and is now a full on communist. I disagree on him putting his heart into his music, it's just lacking in more ways than one. ZZ top still put their heart into their music the last concert I saw of theirs. Wish I could have been at the last Zeppelin concert

Well time to bring back this thread lol. After a two year delay, Roger's This is not a Drill tour finally started. I was able to see him opening night in Pittsburgh. As expected, concert was fantastic. He did make a disclaimer that if you don't like his politics, then politely leave (but in a non friendly way lol). If anybody is curious, this was the setlist:

Comfortably Numb
The Happiest Days of our Lives
Another Brick in the Wall Part 2
Another Brick in the Wall Part 3
The Powers that Be (Radio Kaos!!)
The Bravery of Being out of Range
The Bar (New 14 minutes song he debuted...only played short excerpts)
Have a Cigar
Wish you were Here
Shine on you Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX)
Sheep
Intermission
In the Flesh Part 2
Run Like Hell
Deja Vu
Is This the Life We Really Want?
Money
Us and Them
Any Colour You Like
Brain Damage
Eclipse
Two Suns in the Sunset
The Bar (reprise)
Outside the Wall

I was going to ask how the show was.
I did see some parts on YouTube.
Interesting version of Comfortably Numb.

I actually liked it ALOT.....I have grown tired of that song only because it is probably the most radio played song they have. I seem to be in the minority though....based on the reviews I read people complained that they "ruined" the song.

I liked it as well, and as an opener. Not sure why people thought he ruined it; trying to play it normally with using bad vocals for Gilmour’s parts is much worse.

I figure some sensitive people will complain about In The Flesh part 2, given some of the lyrics that don’t fit in with being politically correct. Caught that one on YouTube as well.

I wondered how that would go over also......although you have to know the context of the lyrics within that album. I was kind of suprised he didn't take the easy way out and maybe just play part 1.....but this is Roger lol.
