How is everyone's tank doing so far in the new year? We need some more informative conversations and competitive banter going on in this thread!

I'd be interested to know what everyone is using for lights on their tanks?

I'll start by saying that I use a ReefBreeders Photon V2 hung 13-14" above the water reaching a full intensity of 100% for channels 3,5,6, 40% for channel 4, and 50% each for channels 1 and 2. My frag is around 8" beneath the water line.

I've had the light over my main tank for around 6 years now, and It's grown every coral and clam like a champ. Also surprised by its longevity so far at 6 years. I like to mount mine a bit higher to mimic a more natural sunlight effect. Unfortunately, I can't hang it much higher than 14" because of light bleeding out over the tank, but that height seems to do the trick on a 24" high tank. I love it so much I bought two others: one for my clam and acro tank which is attached to my main system, and another for an upcoming frag build!
I know you've had success with them also, Adam, but running higher whites than me, correct?

I am using 3 coral care gen 2 lights over a 5 ft 150, roughly 10 inches over the water. I am very pleased with the growth and light coverage. The light spectrum is very white

Tank is doing meh to be honest, I cant point the finger in what random issue I am having with some STN here and there than it stops, regrows and happens again . ICP-MS all good, Aquabiomics all good as well. So its something I am doing, I am re-doing flow once I get some MP40s extention cables this week hopefully as my par is between 250-400.

As for Equipment:
I have a 72x30x24 CDA tank running x5 XR30 Blues G5 supplements by x2 orpheks or3 bars all about 9-10 inches, the Radions running at 40ish percent I honestly only run 5 cause I got 3 for free and already had 2 so wanted good spread all around otherwise I would be running less lights.

I’ve got my tank growing under a Phillips coral care gen2 and a quanta reef light bar for some pop, both mounted only about 5-6” above the water in the canopy. I’m a very strong believer that full spectrum is necessary for coral growth, coloration, and health, and I think the Phillips coral care does a great job providing that.

My tank is a 60 gallon cube with a Mac calcium reactor for dosing. I’m also running no water changes and the reef moonshiners method. Here’s a couple FTS

Since were talking about our tanks, I'll throw mine in here! My tank is in a period of Limbo right now, I ended up buying a bunch of coral from a 300 gallon tank, and buying the tank, then I damaged the tank getting it home so I'm working on getting a replacement built. In the meantime my tank is over stuffed with coral! Looks great though (as long as nothing grows too much).

The current one is a 135G AGA, 3 foot by 3 foot by 2 foot tall, I have 4 Hydra 32's and 4 T5's lighting it, with a Gyree 4000 and a couple Tunze for flow.

I have my January entry, better to get it in early than risk being late I figure.

I still think this coral needs more light, but my tank has been in limbo a little bit as I mentioned earlier, so I haven't been wanting to make any changes I don't have to. Once things get stable again I might play with more light a bit.

The good news is that it's healthy, with great PE when I'm not smacking it with a ruler that is.

Here is my January pic
Encrusting well and upward growth.
This frag is LOW in the aquarium at sand bed Par at peak is now 250 as I have turned up the main light Blaze150 to 100% on channels
