Here is a couple quick pics of my new light fixture and pics of my dosing setup i finally got around setting up.

New TEK 8 bulb fixture - MUCH brighter than i could have ever hoped for, and a 20" above the tank!

Pic of the light setup - Bulbs are temp, new aqua science bulbs in route.

Ghetto Dosing setup - temporary until new system is up and running with calcium reactor. Nice home make dosing vessels though if i do say so myself, wicked functional. They hold around 2.5 gallons.

Wow that is nice. Those colors really pop now, can't imagine how good they will look with new bulbs.

I've got a 6 bulb Tek but wasn't happy with the output so I juiced it up with a Icecap 660. That 8 bulb really rocks.

LOL junior!

Love that ghetto setup, you should think about keeping it! :xd:

PS - what is your rhyzo doing in a flowerpot? - getting some shade?

Oh im not getting rid of anything. Im dosing two-part now, later it will dose vodka, aminos, and trace.

The containers work perfect, and hard to beet for 12 bucks each.

Yes, its getting some shade, and it keeps it from eating anymore dumb cromis' that keep getting eaten, lol.

chromis are an expensive treat :D, frag setup is pretty sweet!! Out of curiousty how much and how often will you be dosing aminos? How well does vodka work for you to control no3?

The dosing setup looks great. I might have to copy it. My profilux controller and doser should be here any day now. Those containers are perfect size.

A couple actually, a Lineatus Male, and a Golden Rhomboid Male.

The Lineatus is right in front of the vortech in that pic.

i got it from the fish guys when they sold off their freshwater tanks.

Ive got an 8 footer in my garage, that im likely not going to be using.

If i dont end up using it, ill let you know. For what its worth, glass cages has some decent stuff for frag tank purposes. I dont know that i would order a display, but i got a real nice 8" tall rimless tank that i had at the last swap, and it was like $90.

Awesome! Where did you get your tank from? I am looking for something like that until I can go HUGE.
