I have a spotted in my 40 gallon, she swells up like a puffer when i feed live brine each week. Still havnt trained her to eat frozen, but I dont really see the point.

Nice! I have been looking for a mandarin that is already trained on frozen or pellets for what seems like forever, the problem is no one wants to give them up once they are trained.I just picked up my mandarin from a local reefer...he eats pellets:xd:

Well thanks for risking lives or those around you so you could make a very important post.I will go into more detail when I get home from work. Its hard to concentrate while typing/driving.
that would work...but I whould have to take a bunch of coral and live rock out of the tank to do that. He sleeps behind all the rock work.D3monic,
Here's the method I use for catching a mandarin. At night I turn off the lights and leave the room dark for 1/2 hour or so. After the fish have gone to sleep I come back and find where the mandarin is sleeping. I then turn on the aquarium lights and just grab them with my hand. You have a good 15 to 20 seconds before they really wake up and try to get away. Ymmv. :bigsmile:
