Thanks! My wife and I definitely want a second kid, but still in survival mode with the first so contemplating it feels daunting to say the least. Takes a village indeed. The weekends are the worst, burnt out from work, and then the nanny is off, so if we are short changed sleep for whatever reason, it's like scraping the bottom of the bucket.
Wait... You have a Nanny? Suck it up Butter Cup.

The problem is - Unless I'm mis-remembering - the poster said his tank is becoming more of a chore, and less enjoying, despite his efforts. My solution - hold off on the tank. OR - make more time for the tank and the baby - I know this sounds harsh - but its reality based on what he/she said
This actually raises a good point. A lot of the time people look at how much time they have to spend on the tank but forget to pay attention to the other things that take their time, like watching a television show or something like that.

Quality family time is important, and if you’re watching a show or doing something with the spouse/kods, that should stay, but if you’re doing something like watching a tv show by yourself, try and play the show in the background or stream YouTube like a podcast while you work, makes the chore time go faster and you get double points for doing two things at once.

There’s a ton of people you can stream:
Melevsreef
Reef bum
Tidal gardens
Reef dork
Prestige reef
BRS
Treasure Corals
Fragbox
Beyond the reef
Reef Builders
Reefdudes
Fish of hex
World wide corals
Saltwater Aquarium
Inappropriate Reefer
Telegraham

Those are the main ones, that should tide you over for a while.

When I returned to keeping aquariums. My husband and I tought my oldest all the hazards and why. I explained each piece of equipment and they were workers doing a job. Not toys.

Just had a rough pregnancy and had a c section. Went through a serious breakout of dinos while I was in the hospital. The snot destroyed all my acros. Didn't have many. But, they were big and pretty. Took a couple of months before I was driven to fight to get the reef back in order.
